Justbeast has won another contest :O
From one of the Judges:
"These shoes are virtually flawless. They could easily be marketed as licensed Marvel products. While the spiderweb pattern is not the most complicated looking design, it has very clean lines and the detail in the black and while comic strip parts of the shoe make it very visually pleasing. I also love how the spider web part of the shoe has a shaded red background. Te shading adds to the amazing detail of the overall composition. I love how even the laces are perfectly colored for the rest of the shoe. In general these shoes are of very high professional quality and i am honored to have them even entered in a contest i held."
Thank you Lord for blessing me with this talent! I wont let it go to waste!

It's a party on your feet!
A friend supplied me with a pair of vans and told me to go crazy, the only requirements were: a robot with headphones, a cassette tape, a penguin with a bowtie, lots of bright colors, and randomness! I think I did a pretty good job of delivering those elements if I may say so myself! Enjoy! And of course me being the crazy guy I am, the robot, casette player, and the "just beast" on the back panel all glow in the dark! :O

Pins and glue thats what I do!
So at this stage I'm sticking the fabric panels onto the shoe with sewing pins (which are actually kinda scary lol). Which the pieces being held together with pins I was able to use E-6000 adhesive (see! It even sounds dangerous!!!) to glue certain parts of the fabric together (I had to wear a respirator) cuz i didn't wanna die from the fumes! I 'm still hoping my hair doesn't fall out from it lol!)
Bleach + Denim= fun! :D

My latest project: Denim Dunks
After what seemed like hours of staring at an ugly shoe, I decided to FINALLY try my hand at customizing a pair of shoes with fabric and without relying on my painting skills. I have been meaning to do this for the longest time, but I was putting it off because I was afraid of failure. I finally gave in and decided that my fear of doing this project was the perfect reason to do it! You learn more when you're uncomfortable, and what better way to learn than trial and error? So I'll keep you guys posted as I embark on this new endeavor.
